DANL business, the 2010 Congressional elections and special guest, the VoteMaster!

Dear Democrats,

Every year, we get together for our annual meeting, to go over DANL business. This year we don’t have a lot of business, but we do have a lot to talk about. The 2010 Congressional elections.

For our meeting, we have invited a special guest, the VoteMaster, Andy Tannenbaum - creator of www.electoral-vote.com, which was the most popular political website on Earth during the Presidential election. Andy’s an inspiring speaker – and will share his insights about the political landscape, recent events and polls, and what we can expect in 2010. You won’t want to miss this!

Andy’s presentation will be followed by Q&A and a chance to discuss our country’s future. After all, 2010 did not start well for us Democrats. Losing Edward Kennedy’s Senate seat to the Republicans was our wake-up call. Now it’s time to get ready to exercise our right to vote from abroad!

After the meeting, we will have some drinks and snacks in the library’s wonderful rooftop restaurant. Please let us know if you can join us by emailing secretary@democratsabroad.nl (just for numbers, you can decide last minute, too)
